Din here, on behalf of our small team at AGL Studios, we want to wish you Happy Holidays!
This past year has been a momentous change for us as we transitioned from a contract art to indie game studio. First thanks goes to you awesome folks at Kickstarter. Not only was Faulty Apprentice funded, but we managed to reach ALL of our stretch goals. The successful campaign not only gave us the startup capital to move forward as a game studio, but the overwhelming positive feedback helped validate our decision to make the games WE WANT.
Thanks to you, we are working on creating more content for the "Romance a Key Characters" stretch goal! Just to give you an idea, we have 7 confirmed dateable Key Characters (Not including the main four). To be honest, we didn't account this many dateable characters at the beginning of the campaign, but they will give the game more story, minigames, and romance! We are excited about that! Should have an updated roster for the future updates.
TL;DR- We are adding a lot of new content, but still aiming to release in Spring 2018.
The transition to Unity is going great! Our new programmer had to start from scratch and we are making good progress. In this Traveling Merchant Minigame, it will showcase some stuff we weren't able to do with our previous engine.

On our last update, we mentioned commissioning a local painter to assemble and paint each miniature. We found an excellent candidate and are currently having a test set made. We'll be posting another update soon to give you guys more information and showcase the result! Stay tuned!
We present you this epic new character coming to the Faulty Apprentice cast! It was a lot of fun designing male version of the Stars Reach armor. Especially for a super badass dude like this! Will save his story info for when you meet him in game, but I can confirm him as a Key character that will be Dateable XD What do you think of his design? What do you think his personality will be like? Would you spend time getting to know him to find out?
