Paramedium coming to Kickstarter!

While Faulty Apprentice is being play-tested for release November 12, 2019, we want to take advantage of the Halloween season and reveal our next project, Paramedium! Coming October 1st!
Paramedium is a cyberpunk horror game where you take on the role of a Paramedium Cleric and dispense justice to otherworldly outlaws. Explore locations, investigate crimes, solve puzzles, and defend yourself against things that go bump in the night. However, you may find that the living can be just as dangerous as the dead...
Gameplay will be broken up into several categories: story, exploration, upgrading, and combat. Dialogue and character interactions will be presented in the character sprite and text box format of the original Paramedium demos. However, we want the full game to have a more interactive storytelling style by adding and in-depth exploration feature to each assignment. So now you will be freely walking from room to room, finding clues and solving mysteries.
While you may be forced to defend yourself often during your investigation of a location, you can expect a much larger threat (boss fight) at the end of each assignment. However, before that boss fight, if you have been diligently investigating, you will have a chance to upgrade an aspect of your Cleric and weapon.
Like the original Paramedium demos, combat will be high paced and vary depending on the nature of the assignment. However, you can still expect a face-to-face confrontation with your greatest fears!
In this dystopian future, not only are ghosts real, but they are a real problem. In order to combat the increasing threats of the paranormal, a mysterious and powerful organization was formed called the Paramedium Guild. While the Guild's invention and control of phantom technology make it a strong political and militarily power, the Guild has an even greater weapon, the Paramedium Cleric.
The Paramedium Cleric is an enforcement officer of the Guild, highly trained in weapon arts, close-quarters combat, and psycho defense. Their job is to asses and resolve paranormal threats peacefully if possible, but if necessary, by force.
Depending on a Cleric's skill and experience, they are Ranked C, B, A or S, with S being the highest rank and authorized to take on the highest threat level assignments. Assignments are given by the Paramedium Guild and ranked in threat levels from 1-99 depending on the predicted danger of the offending target(s).

Paramedium 1: A noise in the Attic and Paramedium 2: Girl in the Road, features the initial concept of the world and introduction of the main characters. These small previews will give an idea of the art style, music, and storytelling that will be present in the completed game.

Faulty Apprentice: Release Date Announced!

It has been a long road rebuilding Faulty Apprentice from scratch in Unity Engine, but we are incredibly proud of what our humble game has become. Not only have we completed ALL of our Stretch Goal in-game content but we've added even MORE! What more, you ask? Customizable features such as Banners and Titles, partial Voice Acting for the Guards, new Locations, Master Equipment sets, and even a few Secret Scenes! (=
As a special thank you to everyone that supported Faulty Apprentice here on Kickstarter and pre-ordered on BackerKit, we will be releasing Chapter 2 in a couple of weeks as well as a beta version of the full game when we are closer to release.

☘️🥚☘️️The Spring Event has begun! ☘️🥚☘️️
One of King Isaac's first acts coming into power was an attempt to encourage trading with other nations and promote fertility in the harvests to come. A great farming market would fill the Lower Courtyard of Stars Reach every springtime, thus becoming known as the Spring Festival. Traders from Northmark, Bunnington, Atlantis, and the Sand Skirts would bring all sorts of soils, seeds, and saplings. At least they would under normal circumstances, but with the declaration of siege, all trade has been shut down.
However, there is one tradition of the Spring Festival that cannot be shut down, at least not while your favorite bunny guard Hilde is on duty! During Springtime at the Burrow, all the bunny folk host a town wide Egg hunt for all the children. Since all the younglings at Stars Reach have been evacuated, Hilde is changing the rules to make it more fun for the Guards and you!
Each member of the Castle Guards have been given an egg to paint and hide somewhere in Stars Reach! While some girls may take hiding their eggs more seriously than others, as part of the rules they must all give you a hint as to where their egg is hidden, before you can start looking for it. Depending on how many you find will affect how much fun you and Hilde will have on your picnic date afterward ❤️❤️❤️

☘️ Find as many Eggs as you can, then bring them back to Hilde to go on a picnic adventure into the Hidden Forest!
The Faulty Apprentice Event Job: Bunny-bunny Egg Hunt will be available to everyone for a limited time.
There will be Good and Bad endings if you are playing a Chapter One build, but if you wish to achieve the Ultimate Romance ending you will need to find eggs from Guards and locations that do not unlock until Chapter Two.
